This ink isn't as free-flowing as other inks in Noodler's bulletproof line, such as Lexington Grey and 54th Massachusetts (see my review). After a few dips it builds up quite a bit on my glass dip pen and prevents ink flow, to the point where I need to rinse it with water and often a pen cleaner solution while I'm drawing.

Had some cheap, off white copy paper from Staples (75g), so I used it to test some of my sample of Noodler's 54th Massachusetts in my Pilot Metropolitan (fine nib). This is considered a "bulletproof" ink, but I did not shoot it to test that. Dry time - very quick on this paper, rather quick on any paper I have used.

I previously used Noodler's Black Bulletproof ink. I loved that ink, but decided after using if for over a year, that it was time for something a little more colorful. I settled on the 54th Massachusetts blue ink. I love the color and the "bulletproof" quality of the ink.
If you prefer something a little more well-behaved but similar in terms of colour and being bulletproof you could try "54th Massachusetts" although the colour of that tends to be a bit more to the black/grey and less green that Legal Lapis. ':meow: "Relay"
